Mason Jar Chalkboard Tea Holders

In desperate need of tea holders, we decided to make our own from mason jars. In order to keep light out to preserve the tea, each jar was painted with several coats of acrylic paint. I got the paint from Michaels for 3/$1. I used a sponge brush and carefully dabbed the paint on to avoid streaking on the jars. Go slowly! After the paint dried, it was sprayed with a clear spray paint sealant that I found at Menards for about $3. Using homemade chalkboard paint, from the Idea Room, we painted the tops of the jars. This way, you can switch out tea and the titles. It worked perfectly, hope you like the results.
